The Old Mids Continue Their Commercial Relationship With Advies

Welcome to the 2008/9 season: I am sure it will be very successful both on and off the pitch.  To allow this season to be an enormous success on the pitch we need your support and I hope that we will see lots of faces on the touchlines cheering The Mids on this year.

Many of you will be reading this letter at the Club Day – a day designed to kick the season off in the best possible way.  A day also being significantly supported by Advies Private Clients LLP.  Advies have provided all the prizes for the Family Day Grand Raffle – a selection of prizes that I am sure will attract a lot of attention!

Over the last 4 seasons Advies have helped The Mids generate sufficient income to replace kits and scrum facilities, help in the funding of the floodlight project, send our members on coaching courses, pay for coaches to away games, maintain physiotherapy supplies as well as fund some of our other day to day expenses.  Total contributions last season alone totalled c.£8k.  Without this continued support many of the things that we take for granted would just not be possible.

So with this in mind I would like to reiterate the fact that our relationship with

Advies is 2 way – without The Mids supporting Advies they are unable to support us!

There is no cost to you as the client in engaging with Advies – yet for all business that they place on behalf of a rugby club member (or a client that has been referred to Advies by a member of The Mids) they will give 15% of the commission they earn to the Club. 

As you will see in order to keep the contributions coming into the Club we need to make sure that we are engaging with Advies on a regular basis.

So what are Advies and what do they do?

Advies are an award winning Independent Financial Advisory firm based in the City of London.  They provide fully independent and impartial advice to both personal and corporate clients on a broad range of financial issues including Personal insurances, Mortgages, Pensions, Tax planning, Investments and Strategy and General insurances.   If you have any financial requirements of any type they would be delighted to discuss your needs.
