Coaching

The Old Mids provide coaching for players at U8 level right the way up to Veterans rugby although there is a slight truth in the statement that you can't teach old dogs new tricks.  The club is committed to the development of its players and has coaching staff dedicated to helping them achieve their potential.  It's success can be measured by looking at some of it's former players who have gone on to play top level or International rugby.  Please have a look at The Club Honours Board for a full list but most recently we have produced England World Cup Finalist and Beard Ambassador George Chuter and Barbarian and London Irish stalwart Kieran Roche.  The club also provides the opportunity to play top level Rugby Sevens through our close links with the Samurai development set up, The Samurai Barracudas and our own sevens team the Evolve Midwives!  The club also has a policy of putting all youth coaches through RFU approved coaching qualifications to develop our coaches and therefore improve the quality of coaching for the players.
