Junior Club Events

The Young Mids traditional start of season Fun Day is to be held on Sunday the 12th of September, 2010 starting at 10:30am up at Lime Meadow Avenue and promises to be even better than last years event.

We have once again arranged for a number of proffession players to be in attendance to run various drills.  Already signed up are Chris Robshaw (Harlequins Captain & England), George Robson (Harlequins), John Hart (London Wasps Club Captain), John Rudd (Former London Wasps, London Irish & Newcastle Falcons) and Ben Davey (Sale Sharks).

Additionally there will be an U16’s tournament between the Mids, Wadebridge Camels and one or two others. The winners will be presented with the new Pat Wark Trophy which will be contested each year between any Mids side and a touring team or indeed the other way around. For those of you who didn’t know Pat, she was the long- term bar Steward at the Club. She retired around three years ago from memory, and sadly passed away in June after a short battle against recurring cancer. Pat was ever so enthusiastic about the Young Mids and was always there with a welcoming smile for players and supporters alike.

We pride ourselves in being an inclusive, friendly, family club.
